Big Fabric Book Sewing Workshop – Gedling

Tickets bookable from Friday 22nd May 2026. This project book is really useful if you like to sew on-the-go! A one-day sustainable fun hand-sewing workshop, using Scrapstore resources.The Big Fabric Book has capacious pockets, to house sewing equipment, haberdashery, and your current sewing projects, and is really fun to make. You can even decorate it with other projects. It uses Scrapstore fabrics, and can machine or hand stitched, or a combination of both. Bring along any small pieces of embroidery, trims or motifs that you can use to decorate it with. Intro to Tapestry Weaving Workshop - Gedling

Tickets bookable from Tuesday 2nd June 2026. A taste of the traditional art of weaving pictures! A one-day sustainable creative workshop, using Scrapstore resources. Firstly, you will learn how to put the warp on to a simple frame loom, and how to do plain weaving. Through the day, you will learn a variety of weaving techniques to create pictorial images in your piece. All materials are supplied, and if you wish, you can buy a frame loom at the end of the session for £18 (cash or card payment on-site). Tweedy Owl Sewing Workshop – Gedling

Confetti Quilting Sewing Workshop - Calverton
