Champagne Glass Studio

Spend a morning, afternoon or evening at my Home-Studio immersing yourself in the world of Fused Glass. Learn about frit, stringers, murrini and either be super creative or copy pieces on display. Create two stunning pieces of glass which will be kiln fired at 765 degrees after the Workshop and transformed into beautiful ornamental pieces. Shaped pieces receive a second firing to ‘slump’. Work is available to collect approx 1 week after the course or can be posted at cost. Choices include a Wave, a draped dish or a panel for a picture (framing at a small extra cost payable on the day).

Spend around an hour 15 mins creating an original Glass picture which will be framed for you. A row of flower pots is the most popular but feel free to be creative! Suitable for Adults and children aged 8 and over. Or there is an alternative option of 3 small or one large and one small hanger available to create. Participants under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult throughout who will be wholly responsible for the child. Suitable for adults, but accompanying adults do not have to book a place/participate in the session.

Spend a FULL DAY at my Home immersing yourself in the world of Fused Glass. Learn about frit, stringers, murrini and either be super creative or copy pieces on display. A delicious grazing board lunch from @treatbox delights, a local caterer, is served during the day. Make one Lantern OR up to 10 items… This could include up to 4 framed pictures, draped items, heart hangers…the allocation is very generous and there is lots of choice. Work is kiln fired at 765 degrees after the Workshop and transformed into beautiful ornamental pieces and is available to collect approx 1 week after the course or can be posted at cost. Max 5 participants in this class. At my Studio in Warminster (BA12 0AN) from 10.30-3.30pm. Snacks, drinks and a Deli-Lunch are included. Suggested age 14+.
