Cool Britannia

Between Thursday 19 March 2026 and Friday 20 March 2026
Cool Britannia is Reigate Grammar School’s first-ever combined Performing Arts spectacular — and it’s set to be unforgettable! This electrifying evening celebrates the very best of the Music and Drama departments while bringing back a decade history seems to have forgotten: the iconic 1990s. The first half features the dynamic play Education, Education, Education, set in a school in 1997 and performed by some of RGS’s most talented actors. Sharp, witty and full of energy, it captures the spirit of school life at the height of the 90s. After the interval, the stage explodes into a high-octane musical revue, packed with legendary 90s songs, stunning vocals and vibrant choreography that will have audiences smiling, singing along and dancing in their seats. More than just a show, Cool Britannia is a joyful attempt to bridge the cultural gap between parents, teachers and students. In a world where digital media often pulls generations apart, this is a true IRL celebration, bringing together Generation X, Y and Z for one brilliant night of nostalgia, connection and 90s magic.
