HARTSFEST 350

An evening of music for all the family. Celebrating 350 years of RGS.
Join us for a special anniversary edition of Hartsfest, Reigate Grammar School’s family friendly music festival. The evening will showcase musical talent from across the school, featuring performances from every ensemble, soloists and choirs – including collaborations with our prep schools and local primaries.
Performances will be complemented by street food stalls, an ice cream trailer and a bar serving soft drinks and alcohol; alternatively, you are welcome to bring your own picnic.
Please note that only limited seating is available, so you may wish to bring your own camping chairs and/or picnic blanket.

The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe
Between Wednesday 25 June 2025 and Friday 27 June 2025
Step through the wardrobe and enter the magical world of Narnia, a kingdom trapped in an endless winter by the wicked White Witch.
Our talented Lower School students will bring C.S. Lewis’ much-loved classic The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to life in the Headmaster’s Garden at 1 Chart Lane.
We are hopeful that the great British summer will kind to this production, but please be aware that the show takes place entirely outside, so you may wish to bring sunscreen, as well as warm clothing, waterproof coats and umbrellas.
Seating:
- Picnic area: You are welcome to bring a blanket or low camping chair.
- Bench seating area
There will be drinks and snacks available, but you are also welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy before the show.
The auditorium will open at 6.30pm.
Tickets: £15 adults / £12 concession (child, student, over 65)

RGS Football camps are expertly designed and run by our Head of Football, Mr Quentin Hoad, with the aim to provide fun and engaging Football for all abilities and skill levels. Our expert team of coaches include a combination of RGS sports staff along side experienced Dorking Wanderers Academy coaches. Our experienced team have worked with complete beginners all the way up to junior academy players and always aim to provide an environment in which all abilities can learn and develop. RGS Football camps are open to everyone regardless of which school you attend!
Who: Boys and Girls in Year 4/ Year 5/ Year 6/ Year 7/ Year 8
When: 10am-3pm on the 3rd and 4th of July

RGS Cricket camps are expertly designed and run by our Head of Cricket, Miss Sophie Pout, with the aim to provide fun and engaging Cricket for all abilities and skill levels. This ranges from softball all the way through to hard ball. Our experienced team have worked with complete beginners all the way up to junior county players, and also have played a high level of cricket themselves! RGS Cricket camps are open to everyone regardless of if you have played cricket or not befor!
Open to boys and girls of all abilities aged 9-14

RGS Hockey camps are expertly designed and run by our Head of Hockey Development, Mr Robert Field, with the aim to provide fun and engaging hockey for all abilities and skill levels. Our expert team of coaches, many of whom are currently working at RGS, include senior international hockey players and current premier league stars. Our experienced team of coaches have worked with complete beginners all the way up to junior international level to provide an environment where all abilities can learn and develop. RGS Hockey camps are open to everyone! Non RGS players are very welcome and all goal keepers will be well catered for with specialist GK sessions and gameplay.
Open to students of all abilities, aged 8+ (Year 3+).
Cost: £40 per day/child

Join us for a talk and harp recital with former RGS student Eleanor Medcalf as she explores the musical world of Jane Austen.
Eleanor will look at how music shaped Austen’s writing and the Regency era more widely, followed by a live harp performance.
Expect thoughtful insights, beautiful music and a few Regency touches – including fizz and little cakes.
