Rothbury Traditional Music Festival

A special acoustic concert featuring the 15-strong Reiver Divas Northumbrian Fiddle Band - featuring some of Northumberlands most kick ass musical women, appearing with special guest, Swedish Fiddler Lena Jonsson. Don't miss this unique opportunity to hear all these wonderful musicians in the beautiful setting and glorious acoustic of All Saints Church in Rothbury.

Guaranteed top quality traditional music, dance and spoken word in the unique atmosphere of Rothbury's old livestock Mart, with a bar provided by festival favourites Sarah and Paul Johnson. This early evening concert, in the beautiful setting and glorious acoustic of All Saints church, showcases unplugged sets from headline acts, local favourites, competition winners and special guests. Children go free (but please book a ticket so we can track numbers).

Kick off your festival weekend in fun and energetic style at our ceilidh dance with Hedgehogs Skin Ceilidh Band and ace caller Ruth Brown. No previous ceilidh-dancing experience is necessary as the 'caller' will guide you through the dances (in between playing fiddle!). Real Ale Bar provided by Sarah and Paul Johnson. All ages welcome!
