TDCA are a registered charity who run both The Link and The Point Building. We not only hire halls, we also run lots of activities for the community such as children's groups, youth groups, cinema, coffee mornings and more.
Stay, Play and Tuff Tray Fun
Between Friday 3 May 2024 and Friday 6 December 2024
This session is designed for children aged 0-5 years of age. The session will have lots of trays with exciting opportunities to explore including things like playdough, construction, small world, books and more. There will also be a baby zone for our younger guests.
One ticket per child please & will be held in the point.

Cheeky Chimps
Between Wednesday 24 April 2024 and Wednesday 4 December 2024
Cheeky Chimps is run by friendly volunteers and is over in the Point. There will be the opportunity to play with your child/ren. With a hot drink for the adults and a small snack for the children. Toys can rotate and change weekly but will include playdough, construction, small world books, puzzles and a baby zone. Booking recommended please to save disappointment on the day.

Explore the world of play and imagination in a safe and welcoming environment in The Point.
Your children will have the opportunity to explore and learn about the world with their and your imagination. So much fun to be had and a hot drink will be available for the adults.
One ticket per child needed please.

Soft Play (6month-4 years)
Between Friday 26 April 2024 and Friday 13 December 2024
This session is a great way for your little ones to burn off all that energy. The soft play is on at the point where you have the opportunity for a hot drink for the adults. Please remember socks and a drink for your little ones. The session is for two hours but feel free to come and go at you please.
Booking is recommended in advance to save disappointment on the day. I hope you can make it.

Sing along story time(18 mths- 4 years)
Between Monday 29 April 2024 and Monday 9 December 2024
A session designed to help release those endorphins on a Monday morning!!! Singing has been proven to help children with communication skills and improve memory. Letting your child express themselves in a safe and welcoming group will help develop social skills.
In the session there will be the opportunity to pick songs from Danielle's special bag as well as instruments to play and hand made props. The sessions are kept small to enhance your time on a Monday morning. I hope you can join me. Held in the music room in The Point.

Sing Along Story Time - 0-18 Month
Between Monday 29 April 2024 and Monday 15 July 2024
Sing along story time is designed for children aged 0-18 months or pre walking children. This is a lovely session where the children get to pick songs from a song bag and use props and instruments to enhance this session. The children will learn several songs which will be repeated a few times throughout the session, as at this age repetition is key. A short story will also be read in session. I hope you can make the Monday sing along.

I can too!

I can too! is a lovely group run by our experienced play worker Danielle. It is a group specifically for parents and carers of adopted, fostered and SEND children. In a warm and welcoming environment you will be provided with a safe space to play and make new friends. Light refreshments will be provided and this group is for those aged birth - 5 years (older siblings welcome during the school holidays)

This session is designed for parents/carers with their children aged 0-6 years of age. There will be a baby zone for our younger guests and Arts, crafts and more for the older children.
