Togetherness online learning pathways

Research has shown that children learn social skills most rapidly when playing with an adult. Togetherness learning pathways include suggestions for play at different development stages. We’d love to hear your play ideas to help teach key skills! Parenting is full of challenges. Learning with Togetherness can build self-esteem, resilience and awareness for connected relationships that can embrace the journey of family. Speech, Language and Communication Group

If your child has not received their 2 year, 3 month Developmental and you have concerns about their speech, language and communication, we’d love to invite you to join our Speech and Language Group session. These one-off sessions, lasting an hour and a half, are held at all our hubs and led by Early Years Support Workers. They provide practical advice and guidance to help you support your child’s speech, language, and communication skills. If you feel this would benefit your child, please book a place

Peep groups are for parents and carers and their young children – some are for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers (3-5) or young school-age children, while others are for mixed age children. In Peep groups, practitioners and families share ideas and simple, low-cost activities that support your child’s learning in everyday life – talking, singing, sharing books and playing together. Join the Torbay Family Hub Free Antenatal Classes The Torbaby Solihull Antenatal Group is a 5 week program for expectant parents & their families who live in Torbay. This program covers topics that help you understand pregnancy, labour, birth, and your baby. Additionally, the group is led by Health Visitors and Midwives, ensuring professional guidance. Moreover, it provides an opportunity to meet other expectant parents and families in a nurturing environment. • Week 1: Helping You and Your Baby Through Pregnancy and Birth • Week 2: You, Your Baby, and the Stages of Labor • Week 3: Helping You and Your Baby Through Labor and Birth • Week 4: Feeding Your Baby • Week 5: Practical Session Booking is essential! These classes are suitable for Antenatal mums 20+ weeks & their birth partners . Each session lasts for 2 hours and runs weekly for 5 weeks. Refreshments are provided. *When Booking* -1 ticket only is needed to be purchased (1 ticket will also include your partner)

PEEP

We would like to offer you and your child a place on our forthcoming Peep group. The programme will run from the week commencing the 12th January 2026 for a period of 10 weeks, free of charge. The group will be for the parent/guardian and child to attend together each week. It will include a teaching element for you to focus on the following week, song time and story time We plan to run the group in Torquay, Brixham and Paignton. If you would like to attend, please complete the response below with your choice of location. All details will be confirmed once responses have been received.
