Our Big May Event will have lots of train fun for everyone - plus bring a picnic, enjoy the countryside and grab a hot drink or ice-cream in our café.
Ages 2 and under ride for free, but will need a paying adult with them, whilst babes-in-arms not yet able to sit upright must be carried in a suitable and secure papoose.
We have a carriage capable of transporting a wheelchair and passenger. If you would benefit from its use, please email us at secretary@rugbymes.co.uk after you have purchased your tickets and we will ensure it's available.

Get ready for a ROAR‑some half‑term adventure at Rainsbrook Valley Railway. On 27th May, our railway is going prehistoric, with friendly dinosaurs popping up around the site, and themed activities for little explorers. It’s the perfect afternoon out for all the family - rides on our miniature trains, colourful dino surprises along the route, and hands‑on fun that keeps the whole family smiling.
Tickets always go quickly for our themed days, so book now to secure your seats for this half‑term favourite and we'll make it a day that explorers of all ages will never forget.

Spend Father’s Day with us at the Rainsbrook Valley Railway and enjoy a relaxed day out filled with miniature trains, fresh air, and family time.
To celebrate all the brilliant dads, we’re offering free tea or coffee to any accompanied father, with free refills throughout the day!
Whether you’re taking a nostalgic ride together, introducing little ones to the joy of the rails, or simply enjoying a peaceful cuppa while the trains go by, it’s a lovely way to mark the day.
Our volunteers will be running a full service of passenger trains, and the site will be open for families, friends, and visitors of all ages.
Come along, make some memories, and give Dad a day that’s a little bit special — steam, smiles, and a bottomless brew.
