Willow Bed Tour

Join us for an open day at the Ironbridge Community Willow Bed and learn how willow is grown and harvested as a weaving material. Severn Gorge Countryside Trust volunteers have restored this site with funding from the Green Communities Grant and will be on hand to give you a tour and tell you all about willow varieties, living willow structures, willow binders for hedge laying, harvesting and preparation. The nearest car park is at Coalbrookdale Community Centre ten minute walk away. Please wear suitable walking shoes, uneven terrain FREE ENTRY.
