No problem: If you have nothing to bring, please just come along anyway! •⁠ ⁠Join the community: Enter the spirit of things and enjoy the day with us. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ⏱️ SHOW TIMETABLE 10:00 Am – 12.00 pm Exhibitor Drop-off & Staging •⁠ ⁠Bring entries to The Anchor Pub. •⁠ ⁠Place items in their correct class sections on the display tables. 12.00 pm Show Open for Visitors ⁠1:30 pm – 2:30 pm Judging •⁠ ⁠The show area is closed to the public so judges can make decisions. 3:15 pm 🏆 Prize Giving & Presentation •⁠ ⁠Announcement of winners and presentation of certificates. After Prize Giving •⁠ ⁠Collection or Auction of Exhibits -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🏆 SHOW CLASSES 🌹 SECTION A: ROSES • ⁠Class 1: Three hybrid tea roses (any variety or colour). • Class 2: One specimen tea rose in a vase. • Class 3: A bowl of roses (arranged for all-round effect; bowl provided by exhibitor). 🌸 SECTION B: CUT FLOWERS • Class 4: Three dahlias (any variety, classification, or colour). • Class 5: A vase of mixed garden flowers (must contain at least three distinct varieties). 🥬 SECTION C: VEGETABLES • Class 6: Three courgettes (similar size). • Class 7: Three dressed onions (tops tied and roots trimmed). • Class 8: Six runner beans (straightish, with stalks attached). • ⁠Class 9: Three potatoes (one variety, washed, free from skin blemishes). • Class 10: Three standard tomatoes (with calyces/stalks attached). • Class 11: Three beetroot (tops trimmed). • Class 12: One cucumber (with stem intact). • Class 13: Three carrots (tops trimmed). 🍏 SECTION D: FRUIT • Class 14: Five blackberries (with stalks attached). • Class 15: Five raspberries (with stalks attached). • Class 16: Three plums. • Class 17: Three apples. 📸 SECTION E: PHOTOGRAPHY • Class 18: Bourne End (a scenic photo taken within the village/local area). • Class 19: A Portrait of an Animal (domestic pets or wildlife). • Class 20: Bourne End Transport. 🧶 SECTION F: HANDMADE & HOMEMADE • Class 21: A handmade knitted item. • Class 22: A handmade crochet item. • Class 23: An item of tapestry, cross-stitch, or embroidery (created from a kit or a chart). • ⁠Class 24: "Finally, you've made it, let's see it!" (Any handmade item that does not fit into other categories). 🧁 SECTION G: COOKERY • Class 25: A jar of homemade chutney or pickle. • Class 26: A jar of jam. • Class 27: A cake of any type. • ⁠Class 28: A loaf of bread (handmade or machine-made). • Class 29: Six fruit or plain scones (uniform size, displayed on a plate). 🧒 SECTION H: CHILDREN’S CLASSES All Ages • Class 30: A sunflower (single stem, judged on height or flower head size). • Class 31: A drawing of your family (any medium). • Class 32: A model crafted from upcycled household waste, such as boxes and plastic tubs." Aged 5 and Under • Class 33: Three decorated biscuits (biscuits can be shop-bought, but decoration must be done by them). • ⁠Class 34: An animal face drawn on a paper plate. Age 6 and Over • ⁠Class 35: A handmade birthday card (judged on decoration and effort). • Class 36: Three decorated cupcakes (cupcakes can be shop-bought, but decoration must be done by them). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 📜 GENERAL EXHIBITOR RULES 1.⁠ ⁠Entry Limits: Exhibitors may enter up to two items per class. 2.⁠ ⁠Own Work: Entries must be your own work or grown in your own garden. 3.⁠ ⁠Vases: Flower vases must be provided by the exhibitor. 4.⁠ ⁠Identification: Exhibitors must write their name on a small piece of paper (approximately 3cm x 5cm) and place it hidden underneath their exhibit. 5.⁠ ⁠Cake Naming: For Class 27 (Cake), please place a card stating the type and flavour next to the exhibit. 6.⁠ ⁠Preserves: All jars must have a clean label showing the contents and the date made. 7.⁠ ⁠Children's Classes: Children's entries must be entirely the child's own work.
