Join us at Redcatch Community Garden afterschool to learn some gardening skills. Book for a block of 7 sessions afterschool on a Thursday. Open to years. 2-6 where the children will be collected from school at 3.20 from RCG staff and then collected by Parent/career from the Garden at 4.35. Sessions could include any of the following: Seed/bulb planting Bird Feeders Art with nature Nature weaving/stick weaving Mindful colouring Sessions are £52.50 for 7 weeks - which includes collection from school taking the children back to the Garden. Bring in the last part of 2025 with intention, honour your ancestors and join in community for a wonderful evening together. Be Yourself will meet weekly on Monday afternoons 12-1pm at Redcatch Community Garden in the Canopy, which is a heated indoor area within the Garden. This group is aimed at those who are aged 11-16years, neurodiverse (diagnosed or un-diagnosed) , and unable to access full time education. This is an opportunity to share interests, cook and chat. The session is led by experienced Session Practitioners and would be particularly appropriate for those with high energy who may need space and support to socialise. Booking is essential as this group is likely to be very popular. Please contact Sophie to join the waiting list. This is being funded by The Hargreaves Foundation.

We are so delighted that Happymess Hub has been so popular that for the next weeks we are trialling no booking required. For the next 25 weeks, we’re thrilled to run Happymess Hub a fun, free session funded by Bristol Family Hubs as part of a Test and Learn Pilot. When: Wednesdays, 10–11am Where: In our cosy canopy (now with quieter heating!) Cost: FREE Bring your little ones aged 0–4 for a relaxed morning of play, connection, and discovery. There’ll be: A sensory corner with toys, books & a blanket area Family play & craft activities Free tea, coffee & squash And each week, families can take home a frozen meal made by our RCG chefs! Happymess Hub is also a great space to find out about local family support services and to tell us what would be most useful for you to learn about. Fancy getting creative this festive season by making something truly unique and personal and sustainable? We are now taking bookings for our annual Christmas Wreath Making workshops. Sunday 7th December 10-12 & 2-4 Tuesday 9th December 6-8pm You will be provided with a beautiful willow base, or if you have your own from a previous workshop you are welcome to bring it. You will be guided through how to decorate with sustainably sourced, seasonal foliage, everlasting flowers, pinecones carefully selected natural festival decorations. To help get the festive mood in full swing, Christmas tunes, homemade festive treats and spiced mulled cider will accompany us – a perfect festive setting! Workshops will be held in our beautiful Canopy structure. Workshops are £35 per person. Please bring secateurs if you have them!
