A double-bill of two exceptional trios, featuring some of the finest folk instrumentalists that you could ever hope to hear:Owl Light Trio has deep roots in traditional music. Featuring Jim Penny (concertina), Jane Griffiths (fiddle and viola), and Colin Fletcher (guitar), the trio share a passion for tunes from Ireland, the UK and Brittany, and draw upon their combined influences to create compelling and heartfelt arrangements.
Boss Morris Trio comprises regular Boss Morris musicians, Sam Sweeney (fiddle), Miranda Rutter (fiddle, viola) and Rob Harbron (concertina). Last year they recorded an album of their Boss Morris repertoire at Rattle and Brash and this is the one and only outing of this trio playing it live: don’t miss it!
