Welcome to the Starting Well Partnership. We support families, parents, children and young people across Worcestershire to lead happy, healthy and fulfilled lives.
Well Child Clinic - Tenbury Test (CANCELLED)
Between Tuesday 6 June 2023 and Tuesday 1 August 2023
Well Child Clinic is open to parents/carers with children under age of 5 in Tenbury and surrounding area of Worcestershire.
Parents/ carers can book a 20min appointment with a member of the Health Visiting team to discuss any concerns you may have about your child's health and development.
The clinics are there to support you through the early years of your child's life. We may be able to offer support to help you manage those daily parenting challenges, from checking your baby's weight and feeding to guiding you through gentle sleep strategies and much more.
However, please do not bring unwell children to the Well Child Clinic as there is a risk of spreading infections to others in the waiting room. If your child is unwell on the day of your appointment, and needs to be seen the same day, please cancel your Well Child appointment and contact your GP or telephone 111 instead.
Droitwich Free Family Fun Sessions - children up to 5 yrs

Weekly group starting 7 June '23. Come along to our fun, learning together sessions, held at WANDS Family Hub, Droitwich 1.00-2.00pm. Each Wednesday until our final session on 12 July.
This 6 week group is available to local Worcestershire families together with their babies and children (suitable age range is recommended between 0-5 years) The PEEP programme focuses on children's activity and wellbeing, whilst always having plenty of fun!
Children can make new friends. Chat with other local parents or get to know our friendly hosts, Trudie and Nic who will be running this group. Get advice or information on services and other activities in your local area.
Please book 1 place per family, just so we know how many to expect.

The online MEALTIMES session - Explore common problems that occur at mealtimes and some of the reasons why they happen.
Come join us on our virtual one-off discussion group (Microsoft TEAMS) Hassle Free Mealtimes -aimed at all local Worcestershire families with children aged between 2 and 10 years.
Mealtimes are of one of the common times parents have to deal with difficult behaviour in the home.
This Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) session covers:
- Discuss and explore things that influence children’s mealtime behaviour.
- Setting limits and teaching children good mealtime habits.
- We will look at ways to increase food variety
- Introduce some positive parenting strategies to help manage mealtimes and develop a personal plan for mealtimes.
You can join the group from a mobile, tablet or PC- simple joining instructions will be sent out upon booking and a reminder via email, closer to the event.

- help you weigh your own baby
- give advice and support around your child's development - when caring for a newborn or a toddler
- provide advice and support in getting your little ones ready for school
Have a fun time with your baby or toddler at our FREE Stay & play session

Worcestershire Families - Good Bedtime Routines - ONLINE

The online SLEEP session - Explore common problems that occur at bedtime and some of the reasons why they happen.
Come join us on our virtual one-off discussion group (Microsoft TEAMS) Developing Good Bedtime Routines -aimed at all local Worcestershire families with children aged between 2 and 10 years.
This Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) session covers: Discussing the skills children need to get into a good bedtime routine and the positive parenting strategies that can help prevent problems.
The strategies help to encourage children to stay in their own bed throughout the night (using; the gentle, the gradual, and the direct approach) You choose which approach suits you and your child best.
You can join the group from a mobile, tablet or PC- simple joining instructions will be sent out upon booking and a reminder email may be sent closer to the event.

These cover separation anxiety; looking at specific scenarios and offering practical strategies. By the end of this session you will have increased confidence and understanding to support your children with their feelings of anxiety.

This Triple P (Positive Parenting Program) session covers:
- Explore and discuss positive parenting strategies step-by-step.
- The group session can help to prevent problems and teach children how to behave on shopping trips.
