Show in a week: The Lion King
About
Step inside the Pride Lands and create a full musical from the ground up in just one unforgettable week. Designed for children aged 7 to 16, this immersive experience takes participants from their very first rehearsal all the way to a live performance on stage. They do not just learn the show. They build it, shape it and perform it.Throughout the week, children work with specialist performing arts teachers and industry professionals to bring The Lion King to life. Every day is creative, energetic and fully immersive, with the exciting build up to a final evening performance where parents and families are invited to join us and watch the show.
Children will:
- Act, sing and dance
- Create costumes and masks
- Build the set and props
- Design and apply stage make up
- Experience lighting and theatre craft
This is the full professional theatre experience, giving children the chance to understand everything that goes into making a musical, both on stage and behind the scenes.
The week ends with a spectacular performance in the Queen’s Hall Theatre on the final evening, showcasing everything they have achieved in just one week.
