Our day trip today takes us first to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. We cross the causeway where you'll have free time to visit the 12th century Lindisfarne Priory home of St Cuthbert. Overlooking the island and perched on a rocky plateau sits Lindisfarne Castle which is now looked after by the National Trust. Mid afternoon we depart Holy Island to visit Seahouses noted for having a long history of fishing and boat trips to the Farne Islands. Enjoy the beaches, fish and chips and enjoy the local wildlife.Date
