Our tour today takes in the charming market town of Helmsley located on the edge of the North York Moors. With its castle ruins, charming tea rooms the town is brimming with history, natural beauty and culture. We then travel to the historic market town of Pickering at the foot of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Pickering is know for its castle and as the southern terminus of the North Yorkshire Moor Railway.The final stop of the day takes us to the quintessential English village with a fairy-tale char of Thornton-le-Dale. The picturesque village in North Yorkshire is delightful with its tranquil pond, thatched cottages, and babbling beck.
