Fri 29 – Fri 29 May (Al)A 4 day/3 night weekend away to Yorkshire or “God’s Own Country” as the locals call it. We will ride some truly stunning roads, marvel at the flat caps, whippets and ferrets and probably eat fish and chips on a pier while fending off seagulls. Maybe a trip to the world famous Betty’s Tea Rooms if everyone behaves.
Departing Friday 29th May and returning on Monday 1st June, we will head northwards and break the journey by stopping for a night in the Peak District via Snake Pass, then embark on a tour of the Yorkshire Dales ending up in lovely Harrogate where we will stay for 2 nights. Sunday will be a bimble through the North York Moors and along the coast. On the Monday, we will blat back to Surrey via the direct motorway route.
