February Jewish Stories
Glasgow's West End - Saturday, 14th February (7pm - 9pm)
About
Deep in the heart of Glasgow's West End, we connect with your Judaism through ancient and modern captivating tales, meeting your fellow Jewish neighbours and finding connections in unexpected places.
'Unlike any other Jewish event I've ever attended'
For Jews aged 18+, as well as friends or partners, we tell stories that aren't talked about, perspectives that are overlooked, the threads which weave through our Jewish story...
So far we've had flaming tea ceremonies, meditation, lots of amazing food and the story of an extremely entrepreneurial 16th business woman and philanthropist. We've travelled to ancient Alexandria and Dharamsala in the north of India. And in February..? Well, our focus will be on Jewish hospitality in ancient times (photo courtesy of the Israel Antiquities Authority), though hopefully not as muddy as the Galilee Talmudic inn pictured above! Sign up to find out more...
There will also be time for even more socialising afterwards, after the official event concludes 🍻🍷🍵
FOOD
Tasty light bites and refreshing drinks will be provided :)
