CEO Support Forum: CEO and Board Relationships
About
This session is only open to Charity Leadership Scotland Members.
In the demanding role of a charity CEO, being a leader can often feel isolating with little space to reflect or recharge. Our CEO Support Forum series offers a confidential, 1.5-hour, online gathering where small groups of CEOs come together to share challenges, insights, and mutual encouragement. These sessions are built on the understanding that when you face pressure in leadership, peer support can often be the most powerful remedy.
Each session will focus on a relevant current theme and invites CEOs to explore together how the context impacts their organisation and their own leadership. These sessions are ideal for leaders who want a safe and structured space to be candid about current issues and to support, and be supported by, their peers.
This session will focus on the relationship and dynamics between CEOs and their Boards, recognising its central role in effective leadership and organisational health. It offers a dedicated space for CEOs to reflect on this relationship in a complex context, alongside peers who understand the unique responsibilities and pressures of the role. Through facilitated discussion, the session will support peer learning and reflection, helping CEOs consider where change may be needed and how they might approach it in practice.
If you have a particular topic or theme you would like to add to the agenda, then please do get in touch in advance of the event.
This event is only open to Full Charity Leadership Scotland Members.
