The Waite Collective is thrilled to invite you to a FREE Balfolk Taster Session featuring RondezVous. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or new to Balfolk, this is the perfect opportunity to learn, dance, and have fun in a welcoming environment.Sunday 25th January 2026: 2pm - 5pm

What’s on offer?
🎵 For Beginners: We’ll introduce you to the basics of Balfolk with simple and fun steps that will get you moving and laughing!
🎵 For Experienced Dancers: Challenge yourself with a Five-Time Waltz and learn variations for classic dances like the Rondeau!
🎵 For Musicians: RondezVous musicians are welcome to play or dance.
🎵 Refreshments: Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided – so you can recharge between dances. 🍪☕
Why You Should Come:
🎉 FREE entry (but donations are very welcome – this helps us to continue to offer these wonderful events!)
🎉 Beginner-friendly for those new to Balfolk – you could bring along a friend who’s never danced before!
🎉 A fantastic way to meet new people and connect with fellow dancers in a relaxed, social setting.
Event Information:
• Free on-site parking
• Fully accessible venue
• Comfortable shoes recommended (smooth soles work best!) – please no heels to protect the floor
• Dogs – Only assistance dogs in Higher Kinnerton Village Hall.
• Please note that children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
• Tea and coffee available
• Bring your own drinks
