About
Are you an allotment holder or involved in caring for community fruit trees and fruit bushes? Would you like to learn more about pruning fruit trees and fruit bushes? If so, this is the session for you.Led by Amy Kilbride and Anna Clayton, this workshop will explain the do’s and dont’s of pruning fruit, help you improve your knowledge, confidence and skills.
You will also have an opportunity to have a go at pruning. This is the ideal perfect time of year to be pruning fruit trees and bushes, so come along and join us.
What to bring: the session will be mostly outdoors, so please consider the weather and wear appropriate warm clothing and footwear. If you have sharp secateurs and work gloves do bring them along, however there will be some available on the day.
This workshop is for allotment holders or anyone involved in caring for community fruit trees and bushes across the District.
This is a free event, but booking is required as places are limited.
