Throughout 2026 FoodFutures is supporting North Lancashire to work towards a Gold Sustainable Food Places Award - a process that will involve evidencing and celebrating the amazing range of work already happening across the district whilst also supporting the development of strategic work that supports a "thriving local food system that is healthy, resilient and fair".This day is for anyone interested in supporting this journey. You should come away well fed; feeling connected and inspired by what is happening in Lancaster District, whilst having a better understanding of the Gold Award process and the role you or your organisation can play in supporting it.
The full timetable and venue for the day will be shared at the end of January. Book is essential - to support with catering and avoiding food waste.
