Kendal is blessed with the most wonderful Georgian and Victorian architecture:- churches, schools, civic and commercial buildings, banks, all beautifully designed and crafted in local limestone, much of it quarried from Kendal Fell.No group of individuals have made a greater impact on Kendal’s streetscape than the architects Francis and George Webster and Miles Thompson.
Join our walk to highlight, appreciate and celebrate these achievements, and to cherish the beauty of 19th century Kendal.
