Gardens of Easton Lodge, Sunday 14th June, Time to Remember World Wars
A special day honouring the Gardens' fascinating connections to both World Wars.
Easton Lodge played a remarkable role in both conflicts - training soldiers heading to WWI and hosting an airfield during WWII. Through displays from the Trust's archives, you'll discover the stories of the brave men and women involved. Local museum and community groups will join us with additional displays (programme to be confirmed), and the Lancashire Belle will fill the gardens with evocative songs from the era - perfect for a sing-along!
