Gardens of Easton Lodge, Sunday 20th September, Apples and Bees
A celebration of our orchard, our bees, and the autumn harvest!
Join us as we celebrate all things apple with the East of England Apples and Orchards Project. This is a proper harvest celebration, showcasing the fruits of the season and the vital role of our bees.
Apple activities:
Children love making their own apple juice and getting creative with apple crafts. Don't miss our famous jam and jelly tombola, apple and honey cake tasting, and the special apple day trail through the orchards.
All about bees:
Ivy Cottage Honey will be joining us. Play spot the queen bee, learn about bee identification, and discover why these incredible insects are so vital to our Gardens.
Archive display:
Our archivist will present a special display, and the Archive Building will be open for browsing. Discover the fine collection of historical photographs and fascinating stories from Easton Lodge and its people.
Live music:
Sing along to Bishops Stortford Ukulele Society - guaranteed fun!
Stalls & browsing:
Browse craft and plant stalls, and stock up on fresh garden produce.
Food & refreshments:
The Giggly Pig will be serving bacon and sausage rolls. Daisy's kiosk will offer cheese and hummus rolls, homemade cakes, and a selection of hot and cold drinks.

- Gardens open: 11am - 5pm (last entry 4pm)
- Adult entry: £6 in advance / £7.50 on the gate
- Children under 16: FREE
- Dogs welcome on leads
- Picnics welcome

Event Cancellation:
Please note that the Gardens will be closed and pre-paid tickets refunded in the event of extreme weather conditions (wind rain, snow, or flooding) or dangerous ground conditions.

Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on leads.
Friends and Season ticket holders just need to show their card at the Gate.
Bacon, Cheese or houmous rolls will be available until they run out - or until 14:30; also a wide range of homemade cakes and hot and cold drinks.
Disabled parking available near Gate; and garden path suitable for wheelchairs/children’s buggies. The carer for a disabled visitor does not need to purchase a ticket. Facilities include disabled toilet and baby changing.
