Play Their Way - British Cycling Engagement Day

Join Play Their Way & British Cycling for a special event in Manchester. Learn more about child-first coaching and ways to apply it in your coaching sessions so you can give children and young people the most positive and fun experience possible.Registration will open at 9:30am, with the event due to commence promptly at 10:00. However, if you do not wish to attend the optional BMX session at 10am, please arrive at 11:00 for registration, with the rest of the day due to commence at 11:30.
Booking information will be shared with British Cycling to allow for follow-up after the event.
Activities on the day will include:
- An introduction to the Play Their Way movement, child-first coaching and how it can help you.
- An interactive BMX session (optional)
- A workshop on children's rights and child-first coaching led by UNICEF UK
- A coaching observation session, followed by a practical applications and idea sharing session in a British Cycling context
- An action planning and coach Q&A
