Get ready to take on a unique adventure across the shifting sands of the UK’s largest tidal bay. CancerCare’s iconic walk across the stunning sands of Morecambe Bay will take place on Sunday 21st June and we would love you to join us.The Cross Bay Walk promises to be the most incredible experience as hundreds of supporters come together to take on the Bay while surrounded by stunning coastline views.
You will be guided from Arnside to Grange, by expert Kings Guide to the Sands, Michael Wilson, who will ensure you can safely enjoy the fresh sea air, wide open spaces and glorious scenery of one of the UK’s bucket-list walking routes. You will also be supporting your local cancer charity with every step raising money for children and adults in our local community affected by cancer and bereavement.
The famous route takes approximately four hours to complete. Due to the unique terrain of the Bay, we cannot guarantee the exact distance, however, previous walks have been around the 6 - 8 mile mark.
