Are you ready for a challenge for 2026? If so then join Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity & Baby Beat to abseil down Peel Tower’s 128ft drop! The tower sits on Holcombe Hill overlooking the towns of Ramsbottom & Bury.Registration is just £35 for the abseil experience with Alternative Adventure. All participants are asked to raise just £50 for LTHC, this could be Baby Beat, Children's services, MND or any other department in the trust.
When booking your time slot, please note the base of the tower is a 30mins strenuous walk from the car park. Please allow yourself plenty of time to get to the base of the tower. There may be a wait for your slot & the tower is very exposed. Warm clothing is essential.
Abseilers must be over 13 years (parental consent for under 18’s) & able to wear a harness with a max width waist of 56inch. If you have any existing medical conditions, please consult your medical practitioner prior to booking.
