As part of this year of celebration, we are delighted to host a tasting of Trimbach's legendary wines, alongside Rob Clayton's legendary cuisine.In the year 1626, the first Jean Trimbach left the silver mines to become a vinegrower and winemaker in Alsace, and exactly four centuries (and 13 generations) later, his descendants are responsible for some of the region's most sought-after wines. To mark the 400th anniversary of this outstanding producer, we are delighted to welcome Trimbach's Mathis, to present a selection of their classic cuvées at Clayton's Kitchen in Bath.
The wines will accompany a specially-selected three-course dinner* by proprietor and talented Head Chef, Rob Clayton.
