HEALTH IN HARROGATE 200Over the past 200 years rheumatology has changed dramatically and to conclude this series of talks, Professor Paul Emery will talk about advances in in rheumatology care since the early treatments offered at the Royal Bath Hospital. Since 1995 Professor Emery he has been Arthritis UK (formerly ARC) Professor of Rheumatology in Leeds, and Director of the Leeds NIHR Biomedical Research Centre 2009-2022. In 2018 received an OBE. In 2020 he received the Meritorious Service Award from EULAR and became Fellow of the Learned Society of Wales in 2021. He was awarded a CBE in the Kings NY honours list 2024 and made master of APLAR 2025.
