Awards and Certificates in Musical Development-SEND schools
About
Getting started with Trinity's Awards and Certificates in Musical Development. We are delighted to invite you to a FREE full day training event specifically for Music Leads in Special Schools. This session will focus on assessment and awards through the Trinity Awards and Certificates in Musical Development (ACMD) based around the Sounds of Intent framework. The day is open to all music leads in special schools and mainstream special provision. Those already using the Trinity ACMD qualifications are welcome as well as those considering starting and those who are completely new to it. We are pleased to share that the day will be jointly delivered by JJ Wheeler (Trinity) and Gennie Joy (Trinity ACMD moderator and Kent Music Senior Leader for the Hub).
The day will include:
• Getting started with Trinity's Awards and Certificates in Musical Development and navigating the system
• Sample moderation of work and guidance on completing moderation paperwork
• Exploration of SOI domains and the differences between levels
• Creation of a shared bank of example activities for use with your students
• Opportunities to meet, share practice, and connect with colleagues
Kent Music are proud to bring these events to music educators across the county for free! If you book a place please endeavour to attend or let us know if you can no longer make it as this may be preventing another person booking a space. There will be a charge of £15 to schools for non-attendance without 48hours notice (not including weekends when a course in on a Monday)
