This Taster Day is for students who are currently in Year 7 or 8 and have a deferred entry for Year 9 or who are considering entry in September 2027.We are delighted to invite you to our Year 9 Taster Day at Walthamstow Hall, an opportunity for prospective pupils to experience life at our school first-hand.
Joining a new school in Year 9 can feel daunting. New faces, new routines and a new environment can all seem like a big step. Our Taster Day is designed to show girls exactly how we support every new pupil, helping them feel welcome, confident and part of the Walthamstow Hall community from the very beginning.
Prospective students will take part in engaging lessons and a drama or music workshop, meet our friendly staff and pupils, and get a real sense of the caring, ambitious and supportive atmosphere that defines our school. They will discover how we carefully onboard new joiners, ensuring they settle quickly, make friends and thrive both academically and personally.
Parents are invited to join us at 3:30pm for coffee with our Headmistress, Registrar and Head of Key Stage 3 as an opportunity to ask any questions about our Year 9 entry process.
We look forward to welcoming you and hope this experience will give your daughter the chance to see herself at Walthamstow Hall and feel excited about the journey ahead.
