About
Hafren are a Manchester based, folk-inspired string duo comprised of Mabon Jones (violin/guitar) and Daniel Springate (cello). Named after the river that divides their two homelands, Hafren perform an eclectic mix of music fuelled by their wide-ranging musical influences and inspirations, from contemporary classical works through to their own compositions and arrangements of Celtic folk tunes.Programme
Hafren will be performing 'Stone, Salt and Sky' by Sally Beamish alongside works by Zoltan Kodaly, Rebecca Clarke and their own arrangements.
