FoWS are delighted to offer Nigel Hardacre's guided walk in Bamber Bridge. You may have been on Nigel Hardacre’s guided walk ‘Lancaster Canal and Tram Road Walk’. You will find this walk as enjoyable and it will extend your knowledge of the Old Tram Road. There is no canal in water to see this time, just the Old Tram Road route, and other local history from the 19th and 20th Centuries.Length 2.5 miles. This is a flat, easy going route, but good walking shoes are recommended. Meet at 9.50am for registration then a 10am prompt start outside the ‘Ye Olde Hob Inn’, Bamber Bridge PR5 6EP.
