A Community of Practice is a group of people who share a common role, interest, or challenge and come together regularly to learn from one another, share experiences, and develop their practice. It’s not a formal meeting or a training session; it’s a space where practitioners can freely explore ideas, problem solve together, and build confidence through collective wisdom.Think of it as a professional support community, built by the people in it, for the people in it.
International workers bring huge strengths, diverse experiences, cultural insight, and global perspectives. But they also often face unique challenges, such as navigating new systems, understanding local practice expectations, and building professional networks from scratch. The community of practice will provide a safe space to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with colleagues who “get it”.
