Junior Adventure Course
About
Each day, under the expert guidance of Windermere School’s experienced Adventure Team, children will take part in two exciting outdoor activities such as abseiling, rock climbing, kayaking, and mountain adventures. This is all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Lake District.
This action-packed programme is designed to build confidence, develop practical skills, and create lasting memories. Participants will join outdoor sessions alongside international students attending our Summer School, offering a unique opportunity to mix with peers from around the world, broaden their cultural horizons, and develop teamwork and communication skills in a truly global environment.
Open to children aged 9 –13, this enriching experience not only challenges students physically but also supports their personal growth, fostering resilience, independence, and leadership.
This year we are offering an additional residential package where your child can stay in our residential boarding house alongside our International Summer School students for the week (for weeks 13 July to 7 August). We offer 24hr pastoral care, all meals provided and comfy living quarters. This is a great opportunity for your child to really embrace our Junior Adventure Course and really experience everything our incredible school offers.
