Northwest Business Group – Online Event (February)The Northwest Business Group is a LinkedIn community built to connect businesses across the North West of the UK.
The group already has over 17,000 members, with around 3,000–4,000 active members engaging in the space. The opportunity now is simple but powerful: to increase visibility, encourage more conversation, strengthen connections, and allow the group to truly thrive again for the North West business community.
This one-hour online event in February is the starting point.
This session is designed to reintroduce the Northwest Business Group and its purpose, explain how events will work moving forward both online and in person, and create a relaxed space where people can make new connections and feel part of a growing community. The focus is not on pitching or selling, but on real connection – the kind that leads to better conversations and, over time, more business.
With a strong existing membership base, the Northwest Business Group already has the foundations of a thriving community. By increasing visibility, encouraging more open conversation, and creating spaces where people can properly connect, the group has the potential to become a central place for businesses across the North West to meet, collaborate, and grow together. This event is about restarting that momentum and building something sustainable.
During the hour, there will be a short introduction to the group and the vision going forward, an outline of future online and in-person events, light guided introductions so people can meet each other naturally, and a clear next step for staying involved. There is no pressure and no hard sell, just good people and good conversation.
