Lancaster Jazz Festival's Ignite showcase is designed to light a spark for a new wave of contemporary jazz artists, embodying our belief that the future of Jazz is now.
Funded with support from Jazz North's New Northern, a scheme to support emerging artists to expand their audiences in the North of England, the event offers a platform to new talented artists, including the first performance from the Lancaster Jazz Band, formed out of our work with Lancaster High School musicians.
