The Lancaster Physics Department proudly presents the LUniverse mobile planetarium, an exciting educational resource.The LUniverse planetarium uses state-of-the-art equipment to provide an immersive journey through astrophysics and space. You can tour the night sky, view other planets and galaxies up close.
Students from our observational astronomy and planetary science research groups will deliver the shows, eager to share their enthusiasm for astronomy and astrophysics. LUniverse caters to a wide range of audiences and age groups.
Important Information for Visitors:
* Arrival & Accessibility: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the show starts. Please note that visitors must be able to walk to the upper floor of the Ashton Memorial, as there is no lift in the building.
* Footwear: Visitors are required to remove their shoes upon entering the planetarium.
* Supervision: Children must be accompanied by an adult and be able to sit still for the duration of the show (approximately 25 minutes).
