Gorgeous Stories - A Self Love Circle for Valentine's Day

Women, you are invited however you are. This is a space created for you. A place to just be. As we approach Valentine's Day we are collectively encouraged to romance 'our beloved' (if we have one) expressing our love and appreciation for their presence within our lives. Sharing with them what it is, we love and value about them. Historically, on Valentine's Day it is the day to demonstrate this love and affection, by delivering symbolic acts which within them hold these attributes. We do this by sending flowers, choosing a specially worded card, making a meal to share or taking our beloved out somewhere thoughtful and unique, even providing a loving surprise in some creative form. This sacred circle is an opportunity to give yourself a gift and in doing so bringing yourself into a space that has been designed to intentionally create a pause, to just be. In this space there is time to consider you and for you to reflect upon what our own relationship is with yourself. What is your relationship with yourself? Is it one of appreciation and care? Do you see yourself as important? Do you give time to celebrate and know who you are? Can you acknowledge the time you give to others and the impact you have in doing so? Do you give time to yourself? Do you allow yourself some moments in your day to reflect on how you appreciate and take care of you? What is your self-love story? What is your own story? What is the long story? This is a place for us to consider HOW we currently do self-love and care OR NOT. How might we love and take care of ourselves. What might we want to develop and bring into to our lives to develop our self-care practices if we don't have them? If you already have them you might want to reflect on these. You might have stories of celebration of ways in which you appreciate and love yourself and being in the world. We want to hear these stories too. However, you are, wherever you are in this journey. Who are you as a woman at this time in life. Please bring yourself and your stories to this evening of reflection to share your story and listen to the stories of other women present. Poems, stories and life experiences that reflect the title of this group are all welcome.This is a space for women to be themselves to accept that all their stories are gorgeous whatever and however they have been experienced. These lived experiences may not have felt gorgeous to you but they have indeed created who you are today and that person - you- this is you and you are gorgeous! How is that to hear? Can you take that statement in?

You do not need to be practiced at this. Just come as you are - you are a woman - that is enough.
The aim of the group is to be present - to listen and to be heard.
To just be yourself - as you are.
This is a small group of women only and numbers are limited - once numbers have been reached the bookings will close.
This is an in person meeting.
Seating will be at floor level - so please bring a mat and sufficient cushions and blankets to be comfortable.
Tea, Coffee and herbal teas will be available.
