This is the final and optional session of the volunteering workshop seriesAgain an informal, participatory, face to face workshop is aimed at volunteers or anyone considering becoming a volunteer in recovery services or with people who might be in recovery
It is an open and friendly environment with lots of chat and interaction and a certificate awarded after the session
This workshop is the final session of 4 workshops
It includes understanding recovery and the stages, the local offer to people in recovery, an asset based approach to recovery and maintaining strict professional boundaries
Other sessions in the series include Introduction to Volunteering, Volunteering Safely & Communication & Interpersonal skills
Each session is a stand alone session but the series forms a complete programme
