Join Hildy Harland as she takes you on a journey into the sparkling world of the showgirl.Learn dance like a classic show girl, why? Because you can can can!!!
With classic steps and styles taken from the days of the music hall and vaudeville you will learn the intricate art of dancing like a true vintage show girl!
The workshop will last 2 hours with a short break and is suitable for all abilities and ages 18+
WHAT TO WEAR
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO DRESS SHOW GIRL APPROPRIATE! However please ensure anything you do wear is comfortable. Gym-wear or dance-wear is fine (something you can bend over in and covers what you want covered etc) Dance heels are fine for those accustomed to dancing in heels but for others either barefoot, dance shoes or footwear suitable for the environment you will be dancing in is best. Finally make sure that your outfit if safe (nothing that will fly off with movement etc).
Participants are asked to arrive on time for a 6:30pm start with a glass of Prosecco on arrival. Tea and coffee will also be available.
