Meet Me Halfway
About
Following his Chinese father’s death, Rayyan is transferred to a top secondary school by his Malay mother, with hopes of securing a university scholarship. His mixed heritage and intelligence quickly draw unwanted attention, and Kai, the class monitor, makes him a prime target for bullying. Li, a member of Kai's clique, takes pity on Rayyan and decides to tutor him.
Over time, an unexpected bond forms between them, sparking disapproval from Li’s parents which forces her to choose between family expectations and her growing feelings. As conflict piles up on Rayyan and Li, they have to learn how to come to terms with their identities and make sacrifices for each other... Will love prevail, or will they be torn apart by their differences?
