RGS Worcester's Senior Production of 'One Man, Two Guvnors'
About
Fired from his skiffle band, Francis Henshall becomes a minder to Roscoe Crabbe, a small time East End gangster, now in Brighton to collect £6000 from the father of his fiancée. BUT Roscoe is really his sister Rachel posing as her own dead brother, who has been killed by her boyfriend Stanley Stubbers, for whom Stanley also works. Simple. In this riotous comedy, even the audience is brought along on Francis’ madcap quest to serve two masters and get the girl. Holed up at The Cricketers Arms, the permanently ravenous Francis spots the chance of an extra meal ticket and takes a second job with one Stanley Stubbers, who is hiding from the police and waiting to be reunited with Rachel. To prevent discovery, Francis must keep his two Guvnors apart. Full of high-energy physical comedy and crackling banter, One Man, Two Guvnors moves at a breakneck pace and leaves audiences rolling in the aisles. This production will have two casts performing two nights each:
