Guys & Dolls
About
New York gamblers Benny, Nicely-Nicely, and Rusty roam Times Square as Mission worker Sarah Brown preaches repentance. Nathan Detroit needs $1,000 to secure a venue for his floating craps game but is broke and still delaying marriage to Adelaide. He bets high-roller Sky Masterson that Sky can’t convince Sarah to go to Havana with him. Sky succeeds, and they unexpectedly fall for each other. Meanwhile, Nathan’s game disrupts the mission, angering both women. Sky later wagers the gamblers into attending a prayer meeting. Ultimately, both couples confront their feelings, leading the characters toward redemption and unexpected romance.
