About

We're excited to announce our 2026 AGM and Symposium on 17th October in London. Come and join us.

GNI members are welcome to join the AGM starting at 9am, then the symposium itself will start at 10am with speakers Carolyn Aitkin (with guest John Andrews), Emil Bewo-Lundblad and Olivier Sanchez.

Please note that we will provide light refreshments but lunch itself is not included and to keep costs low there will be no recording.

Carolyn Aitkin
Discovering New Risk Indicators for Glaucoma Through Iris Analysis

In this talk, Carolyn Aitken presents her original research exploring potential associations between specific iris patterns and glaucoma risk. Drawing from clinical observation, case analysis, and her recently published peer-reviewed work, she shares insights into how iridology may contribute to early risk identification and a more integrative understanding of ocular health.

This presentation bridges holistic assessment with contemporary glaucoma research, opening a discussion on preventative strategies and interdisciplinary collaboration.

John Andrews
Our esteemed Vice-President, internationally recognised John Andrews acted in an advisory role for Carolyn Aitken's amazing research from the Modern Iridology approach.

John will speak for 10 minutes on the importance of Modern Iridology in general and within this paper, the shadow ring sign and zinc correlation which was integral to Carolyn's findings.

Emil Bewo-Lundblad
It will be my pleasure to present to you how TCM, iridology, theories and tools of Natural medicine can be combined and to guide you through an advanced but also highly interesting subject from assessment to preparation of treatment.

The organ clock, the five elements and the extraordinary meridians will all be covered in the presentation.

This presentation is intended for everyone from beginner to already established practitioner with an extensive experience in the natural science field. I have therefore included shorter introductions to both Iridology and TCM for those of you who might not have encountered these fields before.

Olivier Sanchez
Olivier will use real-life case studies to discuss key signs and indicators suggesting the need for special support for the individual, drawing on tried-and-tested protocols and a new perspective informed by modern iridology.

This presentation will be fully interactive, so your participation and your questions will be answered as the talk progresses.
