My Name Is Eden – Celebration Evening

Runtime approx 2 hrs and 30 mins including intervalA relaxed and informal spoken word evening featuring work from My Name Is Eden, an English Heritage Community Connections project, involving local writers, artists and performers.
Workshop participants, facilitators, families, friends and general theatregoers are all welcome at this celebration of creativity inspired by Mayburgh Henge, King Arthur’s Round Table, The Countess Pillar and Penrith Castle.
If you took part in a workshop, you might like to book a slot on stage to read out your work.
OR send us your piece for Penrith Writers or Penrith Players to read.
YOU can also send work to be displayed in a folder in the theatre bar.
IF you didn’t attend a workshop but would still like to join in, please get in touch. If there’s too much material, we’ll put on another evening!

Seats are free and unreserved but please book in advance. All performers will be invited to the stage from their seat.
