Understanding Modern Slavery: Spotting the signs and taking action.This 2 hour online session is aimed at those in management roles as well as frontline staff. The training session covers:
• An overview of modern slavery and human trafficking in the UK
• How to identify signs of exploitation and appropriate responses
• A guide to UK support systems for survivors, including challenges they may encounter
• Insights into the impact of trauma on individuals affected by exploitation and how to support and work with them
• Practical tools for self-care when engaging with traumatic stories
• Useful links and resources
