Are you involved in organising meals for your community?Whether you’re a community organiser, cook, helper or volunteer, join us for an evening of good food and connection.
This evening is to:
- Create a shared understanding of what community meals are happening around the District, how and where they operate, and how many they feed
- Discuss the challenges and opportunities in providing meals - and how we might work together to overcome them
- Explore whether and how, more locally produced food might be incorporated into community meals in the District
- Share inspiration and good food
When you book your place, you'll be asked the following questions:
Which community meals you are involved in - where, how often they take place, who comes etc?
What are any challenges or opportunities you’re facing?
