Come and support Derek at his beloved Aylesbury Rugby Club for an evening with the legend himself, as Derek shares the details of his incredible journey tackling the World Marathon Challenge 777, his latest adventure, in aid of Thames Valley Air Ambulance, an organisation close to all our hearts. He has raised over £16,000 for this life-saving charity so far.Get ready to be inspired by tales of grit, determination and a touch of frostbite! Don't miss this chance to hear the story behind the challenge from the man himself and hopefully a few other tales of his previous adventures, including the Marathon des Sables and the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge, the world's toughest row.
This is a free event but any donations to Thames Valley Air Ambulance will be gratefully received on the night and the bar will be open, with a curry meal available to those who wish to pre-purchase.
