We are excited to announce abstract submissions for the upcoming 2026 Dan Eley Symposium is now open. The Dan Eley Symposium is held every year to showcase the research efforts of our talented early career researchers across the School of Chemistry. Prizes will be awarded for the best talks and best posters.This year's symposium will be held on Thursday 21st of May in X1 and the Foyer at the School of Chemistry at University of Nottingham.
The submission deadline is Friday 17th of April 2026.
Abstract submissions are open to all postdoctoral researchers to present a talk or a poster. This includes staff who are in R&T job family bands 4, 4a and 5, or similar career stages. Submissions are now open. Please complete and submit the attached abstract form to this email address (PC-Postdoc-Forum@exmail.nottingham.ac.uk).

Join us at the 2026 Dan Eley Postdoctoral Research Symposium to celebrate our PostDoc community!
The symposium will take place on Thursday 21st of May from 9am to 6pm in X1 and the Foyer in the School of Chemistry at University of Nottingham, with exciting oral presentations and posters.
Lunch will be provided and there will be a drinks reception during the prize giving ceremony for the best oral presentations and posters.
For sustainability, please bring your own coffee mugs and water bottles.
We will also have a range of sponsors exhibiting in the Foyer - Apollo Scientific, Radleys, Teledyne and Kurt J Lesker Company. The event is also supported by No7 Beauty Company, Royal Society of Chemistry and Lubrizol.
